Spring 2006
In the Spring of 2006, the Iota Delta chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota initiated three members:
Michelle Cochran- Oboe
Katie Leonard- French Horn
Tamara Frazier (Scrivner)- Percussion
In the beginning of the 2006-07 academic year, the chapter consisted of this class and their leader and President Courtney Pate (LaCour). They set off into the next year to recruit, to promote music at SDSU, and to learn about the sisterhood they had just joined.

During the Winter session (Our Intersession Class), there were four more girls who had seen the activities of the now 9 actives, and were asked to rush. After their MIT process, all four were initiated:

In the Fall 2007 there was no class, taking a semester off for chapter growth and identity building. However, in the Winter class of 2007, the Iota Delta chapter initiated nine of the most beautiful characters seen on the SDSU campus, including:

Spring 2008
Going into the Spring 2008 semester with 24 actives (a 600% increase!) was quite an experience. The chapter started focusing on including the SDSU Choral Department in their recruitment. The Spring 2008 MIT class included:
